"I once spent decades faithfully cataloguing all the locations, every visit from the smallest camera angle to the largest zoom. But no sooner had I finished when it all started changing - new series, new filming, locations running amuck ... I had to start amending my entries - oh the task is endless!"

This site is designed to be a guide to the many locations around the UK and the world which have been used during the making of the series, providing details on how they were used within the shows, where to find them, and a comparison between how they look in the modern day to their original appearance on screen.
Our aim is to keep the database of locations as up-to-date as possible, to reflect how a place changes over time; as a result, some names may be different to those seen in other guides to location filming (though these are aliased for searching) - if indeed it hasn't been demolished in the meantime! Being that there are some 925 locations in the database, this means that any updates and photo submissions that you can provide are always welcome!
We're also interested in filming reports from locations, and other photos portraying places at the time of filming or or in subsequent years before they were altered/demolished.
As of
7th August there
are 2304 photos submitted, covering
664 out of the
925 known primary locations listed on site.
A selection of those photos are below
(full list) - why not
submit your own!
(here is a list of locations we don't have photos for at present)

website updates14th July 2008 - Photo caching
